The new British Berkefeld 1L stainless steel + 1 Ultra Sterasyl gravity system offers unrivaled filtration quality in an ultra portable format.
It is very easy to assemble, disassemble and store and weighs only 960g, filter included! Ideal for treks, light camping, afternoons in the garden, on your bedside table or to be ready to face any emergency situation.
British Berkefeld systems, inventor of gravitational filtration in 1826, are easy to use and maintain. They operate without energy, without electronics and without water discharge. The filtered water is free of more than 99% of perfluorinated compounds (PFAS) perennial pollutants, bacteria, chemical pollutants, drug residues, cysts, sediments, heavy metals and all impurities.
Ultra Sterasyl filters from British Berkefeld, still partly manufactured by hand in the south of England, provide pure, safe water, without any particular odor or taste, pleasant to drink in all circumstances, from from any water source (tap, river, well, lake, rain, etc.). They are used with confidence by most NGOs around the world.
Take original British Berkefeld quality with you and have peace of mind knowing that your water will always be perfectly safe.
The British Berkefeld 1L gravitational system, equipped with 1 Ultra Sterasyl filter, purifies up to 0.8L/h*

Principle of gravitational filtration invented by Doulton & British Berkefeld in 1826 :
The upper tank of the system is filled with unfiltered water, which by gravity will pass through the ceramic-carbon filter to arrive perfectly purified in the lower tank after 4 stages of filtration:
- Exterior of the ceramic: eliminates pathogenic organisms (bacteria, parasites, cysts, etc.), sediments and impurities.
- Interior of the ceramic: Antibacterial formula to prevent any internal microbiological development.
- Anti-heavy metal media: reduces heavy metals (lead, mercury, etc.)
- Activated carbon in granules: Eliminates taste, bad odors, chemicals and perfluorinated compounds (PFAS) eternal pollutants.
Highlights of the British Berkefeld 1L + 1 Ultra Sterasyl Gravitational System:
- Reliability certified by independent organizations: LUCIDEON, WQA, WRAS, NSF, ISO
